Stock Paintball Guns: Less is More
Looking to get into stock class play? Many paintballers have overlooked this game format. Perhaps because it takes a unique player to get into it. Often many stock players started into it because they were looking for a challenging format, that not only would strengthen their skills, but be cheaper altogether.
What makes a stock class paintball marker unique? A couple of stuff. In fact, let us discuss what makes it so unique below…
The most noticeable feature is the overall size of the marker. If you take a close look, you’ll see that a stock class paintball marker is missing two parts you often find on a normal paintball gun. These 2 parts are the hopper and the air tank.
Without a massive hopper, and air tank, it is most certainly lighter. It also requires a different strategy when being used. One you will probably have to get used to. Could you handle the challenge?
Taking place of the normal hopper, is a 12-20 round feed tube that lays horizontally on top of the marker. Quite frequently, the feed tube is only 12 rounds, which can prove to be quite a big challenge for the inexperienced player.
The rules for stock class play also require the use of 12 gram co2 cartridges. A typical 12 gram cartridge can provide 25-50 shots at most. As you can see, with only 12 paintballs and such a tiny air supply, strategy definitely comes into play.
If your in for a more challenging way of playing this amazing game, look no further than stock class play. It’s an amazing game format, which can help you develop your skills and turn you into a better player.
