Do You Make These Common High School Scrapbooking Mistakes?

A scrapbook is the very best way to preserve the memories of your highschool years. When its done properly, its is a great thing to read though and relive some of your highpoints and lowpoints of your time in the education system.

However, its important not to fall into one of the common traps that may turn your high school scrapbook into something less than fascinating. To make sure this does not happen, I’ve put together some simple guidelines:

Don’t include too many negative things

We all had bad experiences in class. A few of us were trouble makers who could not avoid detention, some didn’t get along well with teachers or other students and some just failed to do any homework.

Whatever your case might be don’t let your book become the focus of this. By all means, include it, just do not go over the top!

Don’t try and cram too much into one album

Some individuals discover that they simply can’t fit all of their experiences into one album or that they have enough materials to fill two or three books.

Don’t feel like that if you make a high school scrapbook that you can not make another one. If there’s too much material to go into one book, then split it into a second album. Perhaps your early years and later years.

Not Including Photographs Of Other People

Its great that you have a lot of photos of yourself in your book, but remember to include photos of other people. You aren’t the only one that went your college!

Ensure that you include pictures of your friends, class mates and teachers (if you can find any).

Also, if you can, get pictures of the buildings, class rooms or assembly halls – you will be surprised when you can’t remember what they looked like after a couple of years.

Keep these guidelines under consideration and you’re bound to make a high school scrapbook that you and your friends will adore!
