Combat Game Hobbies – The 4 Different Types

The timeline of toy guns has become a substantial one. Starting off with early projectile launchers such as the rubber band gun, and concluding with hi-tech full automatic masterpieces such as the Buzz Bee Tommy 20 and Nerf Stampede. The areas in between were laden with everything from the squirt gun to early models of the ball blaster.

Toy blasters such as the above two are capable of blasting up to 3 darts per second. Needless to say, this is a big jump from the single shot ball blasters from back in the day. The innovativeness of the guns, blasters, and markers employed in various combat games in existence, is pretty remarkable.

If you want speed, and hunger for adrenaline, then there is a combat game for you. Airsoft and Paintball are a couple of shooting games that can deliver this. They each take great focus to play, and a particular degree of pain threshold as well.

Paintball, Airsoft, Dart Tag and Lazer Tag

There of course, are other kinds of combat games to choose from. Of which, I am going to explore below.

Paintball – Inside of paintball is a whole slew of game adaptations. Speedball, scenario, and woodsball are a few. Speedball is commonly experienced on an open field filled up with bunkers. The field is often symmetrical, and presents an even amount of bunkers on either side. Scenario and woodsball are typically played in the timber, and center around objectives. You usually see a military adoring crowd in this version, together with army styled paintball guns.

Airsoft – Prominently revolving around the armed forces; airsoft is a activity played in the woods, and with realistic guns. They blast tiny plastic BB’s, and are shot from guns that shoot up to 500 fps. The BB’s can weigh up to twenty grams, and may travel up to around 100 feet.

Dart Tag – In this version, gamers use toy blasters to launch very soft, safe foam darts at foes. It is by far the safest of bunch that actually shoots out something. There are a few games participants can engage with their blasters in. Humans vs Zombies is a game that has hit university campuses all over the United States. Humans try to live as long as they can from the zombie plague. It’s exciting, and safe (when played right).

Lazer Tag – Noted for its simplicity of play, and safety; Lazer tag is a hit amongst families and pretty much anyone out there that loves video games. Players have on vests that are packed with sensors. The blasters used in this game shoot undetectable infrared beams, that when come in contact with sensors on the vest, will register a hit. It is most often played in a dark building loaded with black lights.

There you have it, four terrific combat games for every age, and all sorts of levels of personalities. Whether you need a contact free game where you can shoot others without injuring them, or an adrenaline packed high-impact game such as paintball; there’s a combat game out there for you.
